The Merritt House Hotel in Monterey is a charming and convenient choice for travelers visiting the area. the rooms were lovely, featuring huge king size beds with exceptionally comfortable mattresses. the daily continental breakfast was impressive, offering a variety of local favorites to start the day off right. the location was fantastic, just a short stroll away from Fisherman's Wharf and shopping areas, making it easy to explore the city. the quaint courtyard with bistro tables and a fireplace in the room added to the nostalgic atmosphere of this comfortable inn.
